Friday, December 15th

11:31am: An officer arrested a female at 205 West Mckinley Street. Jacqueline Richardson, 38 of Bagley had outstanding Dallas County Arrest Warrants for, “Controlled Substance Violations.”

1:07pm: Abi Winkleman reported two Stray Dogs near South and Oak Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animals.

1:41pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and American Ave. resulted in Jennifer Schumacher of Newell being cited for, “Operation with Expired DL.”

2:57pm: A Boone County Detective requested an officer to make contact with a Jefferson resident about property in their possession. The officer learned the subject no longer resides in Jefferson.

3:28pm: The Greene County High School advised an officer that a female student had posted on Social Media her using a vape pen in the school’s restroom.

3:32pm: Jean Meiners requested assistance after locking herself out of her residence at 303 North Chestnut Street. The officer was unable to gain entry without causing damages. He provided her with lock smith numbers.

4:08pm: Officers assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a roll over accident near the airport on 235th Street.

5:35pm: The Grand Junction Ambulance advised a vehicle knocked down the stop sign at 220th and Elm Streets, while attempting to get out of their way. The officer located the vehicle a short time later. Cater Fetters of Jefferson was issued a citation for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

5:59pm: Officers were assisted by deputies with the execution of a Narcotics Search Warrant at 203 East Perry Street. Items of paraphernalia and suspected narcotics were taken into Evidence for lab testing. Charges are pending results.

6:48pm: A caller advised of a possible Animal Neglect in Jefferson. The officer is investigating.

9:50pm: Bruce Webster reported hearing two loud bangs at 500 East Park Street. The officer noticed two shoe prints on the front door, showing someone had kicked it. The officer is investigating.

Saturday, December 16th

12:23am: The Wild Rose Casino reported a possible Intoxicated Driver leaving 777 Wild Rose Lane and heading east on 220th Street. The officer located the vehicle near 220th and Mulberry Streets. The plate was covered with dirt and unreadable, along with a broken taillight. The officer performed a Traffic Stop on Mulberry Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Lyle Olesen, 59 of Audubon for “OWI 1st Offense – Serious and he was cited for Fail to Maintain Registration Plate.

Sunday, December 17th

3:55pm: An officer began an investigation into a possible “No Contact Violation.”

6:52pm: A deputy requested an officer to locate a vehicle heading into Jefferson on 222nd. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
