The Perry City Council will meet tonight.

Under old business, the Council will consider for approval the first change order, followed by the tenth and final pay request, as well as a resolution for completion and acceptance of the 2020 Downtown Street and Utility Improvements. The Council will also consider for approval under old business the ninth pay estimate and the seventh pay estimate for the airport runway relocation phase two and three, respectively. The final items under old business include the second change order for the Pierce Fire Apparatus and a resolution authorizing the signing and acceptance of a Community Development Block Grant for water and sewer.

Then under new business, the Council will consider for approval the five year airport capital improvement program, a resolution authorizing to terminate an agreement, as well as making several appointments, including the Beaver Creek Watershed Management Authority, the North Raccoon River Watershed Management Coalition, and the Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance. Additionally, the Council will consider approving a resolution authorizing the purchase of land, a resolution for an underground electric line easement, and a resolution for tax abatement applications for residential construction completed or to be completed in 2023. They will also consider for approval a resolution adopting two CFR Part 200 Procurement  Policies and Procedures, approving the board of adjustment, a resolution authorizing the sale of unused or outdated equipment, and setting a public hearing for an ordinance to vacate a portion of a public right of way.
