Tomorrow, Perry High School basketball fans are encouraged to help support a worthy cause.

The Interact Club is having their final Personal Care Drive during the mega night basketball games from 6-9pm. Co-Advisors Christine Krohn and Anne Horgen lead the student organization and Horgan says there are several items people can donate that will go back to the school’s food pantry, including laundry detergent, toilet paper, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, among others. She points out their first Personal Care Drive was held on December 12th and it was very successful.

Horgan notes that the individuals that donate a certain amount of items will get more add-ons at their free hot chocolate bar. The bronze level is one item, which is the basic hot cocoa. The silver level of two items will get hot cocoa with additional toppings, and the gold level of four or more items will not only get hot cocoa with add-ons, but also a hot chocolate on a stick to take home. Horgan appreciates the Perry Rotary Club for sponsoring the hot chocolate bar.
