The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is helping individuals, couples and families to be a Greene County Community Center member going into next year.

JPRD Assistant Director Nathan Kral says in honor of the year 2023, they are having a special 23 percent off new memberships to the rec center. He points out this special is good for one year and for all of their membership levels and packages, and excludes renewals. Kral talks about the amenities that the rec center has.

“We have a little bit of everything. We have a full size basketball court, we can play basketball. We have a racquetball court, (and) it’s also become popular for people playing pickleball in there. And our upstairs, we have a walking track, along with cardio equipment and weight equipment.” 

Kral adds that members also get access to the locker rooms, showers, no cost to any of the fitness classes and reductions in fees for youth programming.
