Gilbert defeated Greene County at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson on Monday afternoon in girls and boys high school bowling. The Tigers improved to 5-0 on the boys’ side and 3-2 on the girls. Greene County boys lost for the first time in five matches, and the girls are 0-5. The Tigers won 2,148 to 1,582 in girls’ bowling and 2.946-2,632 in boys’ action. The girls from Greene County shot a season best.

Gilbert’s Chase Klatt rolled 279 in game one with eight consecutive strikes to lead the Gilbert boys. He rolled 222 in game two for a 501 two game series. The Rams had a 245 with seven consecutive strikes for junior Lane Fields, both his best this season. Fields had a two game total of 366, followed by Carter Fecher 362, Trystan Cummings 351, and 328 for Teagan Chisholm.

Kierra Miller of Gilbert rolled 149-177=326 to lead all girls. Sofie Johansen led Greene County at 111, 123=234, followed by Allison Fields 131-91=222, Ava Schilling 97-113=210, Gracie Cooklin 87-112=199.
