With Christmas coming soon, several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson.

The Jefferson City Hall will be closed at noon on Friday and will remain closed on Christmas Day. Due to the holiday, garbage routes will be delayed by one day. Monday’s routes will be picked up on Tuesday. Tuesday’s garbage will be collected on Wednesday. Then Wednesday’s routes will be done on Thursday. 

Additionally, the Jefferson Public Library and the Greene County Community Center will be closed on Sunday and Monday. The Greene County Courthouse will be closed on Christmas Day and the day after in observance of the holiday. The Greene County ISU Extension Office is closed Christmas through December 27th.
