The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board approved a payroll change notice for Carly Heckman, a new hire in the County Recorder’s office and a payroll change notice for Kelli Smith in the County Auditor’s office, before hearing a department head update from Conservation Director Brad Halterman. Halterman told the Board that they are looking to purchase a new truck, and he was seeking recommendations on how they should move forward. The Board agreed with Halternman and the Conservation Board’s choice, which is to put the purchase on the current fiscal year’s budget, and enact a budget amendment to pay for it.

The Board then heard the annual report and county report from Elderbridge Agency on Aging Representative Sandra Jackson, then approved rescheduling the regular meeting next Tuesday to Wednesday at 9am. The meeting ended with a closed session for the annual employee evaluation for Information Technology Director Brian Hoffman.
