A single vehicle rollover crash near Perry Wednesday afternoon resulted in life-threatening injuries for the driver.

Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante tells Raccoon Valley Radio the crash happened around 4pm where a vehicle was heading west on Highway 141 near M Avenue and went off the roadway, rolled several times into a farm field. He says the driver was stuck inside the vehicle and the Perry Fire Department used its extraction equipment to remove the individual. Infante notes the driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by air ambulance at the scene to a Des Moines hospital.

Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Perry First Responders, Perry Police Department, and Perry and Bouton Fire Departments, and Dallas County EMS responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
