An important date for those wishing to participate in the Adair County Fair is fast approaching.

Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that next Thursday is the official beef weigh-in for Adair County 4-H’ers and FFA members that are looking to show beef at the County and state fair levels next year. She shares what individuals can do is they’re busy that day.

“If for some reason that December 28th date does not work, please call our office and we will find another county and another possibility for you to weigh-in. But yes, that is a requirement to be weighed in and tagged at our official weigh-in.”

The weigh-in will take place at the Adair County Fair Grounds from 9am until 2pm.
