The ADM Tigers men’s basketball team won against the Van Meter Bulldogs last night. What started as a 0-7 trail for the Tigers eventually became a 54-69 win for them. The first period ended with the Tigers outscoring the Bulldogs with 11-15. A close second period, but Tigers still able to win that quarter as well with a 12-14 as they fought the Bulldogs to close the period off strong. Coming back from half the Tigers made some game time strategy adjustments and were able to run away with a 12-21 period. In the 4th and final period, 19-19, the Tigers fought off the Bulldogs as they attempted to create a come back. finding a way to maintain their lead as they went shot for shot with the Bulldogs. Not letting them receive any shooting takeaway’s without an answer back.

Player of the game was Caleb Oberhoffer for making hustle plays and not only fighting for the defensive rebounds, but also finding a way to score in the paint. Creating a way for the Tigers to take advantage and end the night going into winter break with a 7-1 record. The Tigers will return onto the court next year in 2024 on January 2 against the Carlisle Wildcats. The first game back will be an away game for the Tigers, both men and women.
