The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is preparing for the end of the month.

There are only a few events left before January starts, with two being story hours, one is today while the other is next Friday. Library Director Jerri Hawkins wants patrons to remember about their other services as well though, with mobile hotspots and audio books available for check out. She adds that there are also movies and magazines that can be checked out, and that they are part of the program that allows patrons to return books from other libraries, and they will send it back to the library of origin, and vice versa. Moving into January, Hawkins says the library will host a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program on January 15th at 3:30pm.
