A Scranton man was injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the sheriff and deputies, along with Jefferson and Scranton Fire Departments, the Jefferson Police Department, Greene County Ambulance and Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the wreck at 1:36pm at the intersection of 220th and 210th Streets.

Garry Storm of Scranton was heading east on 210th Street in a 1999 Buick Park Avenue and pulled out in front of an eastbound 2018 Peterbilt semi-tractor that was heading south and driven by Lance Rus of LeMars. Storm hit the driver’s side of the semi. Storm was taken to Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance with minor injuries and Rus was uninjured. The Buick was a total loss and there was $10,000 of damages to the semi. Storm was also cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
