The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding their final event of the year on Thursday.
Extension Program Director Meghan McBride says they will be at the Stuart Public Library to teach about how to use drones as a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the library asked about using the drones from a previous program where they were brought in, and why they’re popular.
“So it’s a lot of fun to just learn how to fly them. It’s a lot of fun to kind of play with the different settings and see all the different things they can do.”
McBride mentions that there are many things to learn about the drones, and that even she is still learning new things about them, adding that she just learned how to make them do flips.
