The Dallas County Engineer’s Office has announced a partial road closure beginning later this week.

According to the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department, G Avenue between 230th Street and Iowa Highway 44 will be closed for a tile replacement at a culvert. The short project is slated to start on Thursday at 7am and the road is anticipated to be reopened to the motoring public the next day at 5pm, weather permitting.

The temporary detour if traffic is heading north on G Avenue, they will be rerouted to go east on Highway 44 and then north on County Road P-58 or west on Highway 44 and then north on County Road P-46.
