The West Central Valley Wildcats boys basketball team are on break, but have already had a decent start to the season.

The season started with a 53-38 loss against the Southeast Warren Warhawks, then a 51-38 victory over the East Union Eagles, and a 59-56 win over the Ogden Bulldogs.

Things continued with a 64-31 loss against the Des Moines Christian Lions, a 50-48 victory over the Panorama Panthers and a 74-38 win over the Paton-Churdan Rockets. Next was a 59-54 loss to the Earlham Cardinals, a 56-40 loss to the Madrid Tigers, an 84-65 loss to the AC/GC Chargers and a 59-49 victory over the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. The Wildcats are 5-5 on the season.
