
Winter break is almost over, and AC/GC Chargers Sports will soon return.
The girls basketball team started the season off with a 63-44 road win against the Atlantic Trojans, then in their home opener took down the Woodward-Granger Hawks 57-21. The team hit the road again, dropping their first game of the season with a close 58-56 loss to the Van Meter Bulldogs, then defended the home court again with a dominant 64-15 victory over the Ogden Bulldogs.
The Chargers were on the road again for their next two games, taking down the AHSTW Vikings 78-57 and the IKM-Manning Wolves 44-23, before facing off against the Panorama Panthers at home, and falling 54-36 in their second loss of the season. AC/GC rebounded with a 55-25 victory over the West Central Valley Wildcats, then faced a tough Des Moines Christian Lions team on the road, and fell 48-32 in their third loss in the season. The Chargers prepare for a road trip to Madrid on January 5th, and are sitting at 6-3 on the season.
