The Stuart Public Library has many fun events planned for the start of January.
The library is closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of New Year’s Day, but is back to regular hours on Wednesday, with a 10am gentle yoga class. Rachel Majerus with the Stuart Library tells Raccoon Valley Radio that their next scheduled event is one that they have all the time, and that the children love it.
“For our younger kids, we are always offering toddler time on Thursdays at 10am. And Books and Badges, where Sergeant Katie will come in and be reading and giving away books, will be on the 11th at 10am in January.”
Majerus adds that also on January 4th, 2023, they will have a game day for homeschooled children, to give them a chance to socialize and hang out with others their age. On January 8th, they’ll host another gentle yoga class at 10am, along with their monthly cookbook club meeting at noon, and book club meeting at 5pm.
