The New Years holiday is coming up and so several businesses and offices will be closed in Jefferson.

The Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Extension, Jefferson Public Library and the Greene County Community Center will be closed on Monday in observance of the New Years holiday. Library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. Jefferson residents are reminded that with the holiday happening on Monday, garbage routes will be delayed by one day. 

Additionally, the Greene County Extension Office is closed at noon today.
