New Year’s Day is coming up on Monday, and some businesses will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Stuart City Hall will be closed Monday, while the Stuart Public Library will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Guthrie Center City Hall will also be closed Monday, along with the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library, with both returning to regular hours on Tuesday. Panora CIty Hall and the Panora Library will also be closed for the holiday.
