The Adel City Council is set to meet for the first time in 2024 with an update from the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce President.

The session starts  on Tuesday, January 9th at 6pm at Adel City Hall, located at 301 South Street. The meeting will start off with giving a certificate to the outgoing Police Chief, Gordy Shepherd. Also, President of the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce Deb Bengston will be on hand to provide an update. Another topic that will be discussed surrounds the City’s Flowers and Sustenance Supplies Policy, where the city may send flowers to employees or their family members who deal with death within their immediate family.
