The city of Jefferson is reminding homeowners who have real Christmas trees that this is their final chance to get those picked up.

City crews are picking up real Christmas trees that are sat by the curbside with the cut ends facing the street until January 11th on a resident’s normal garbage day. There is no additional cost for this service and no yard waste stickers are required.
