Greene County basketball was weathered out of scheduled action in Manson on Monday night vs. Manson-Northwest Webster.
Tori Ogden is the head coach of the Greene County girls, and the coach told Raccoon Valley Radio she saw the team make progress over the break for the holidays. “We went to Madrid and scrimmaged Madrid, GMG (Garwin), and Colfax-Mingo. We were shorthanded with the Shipley twins and Alaina Heard, but Becca (Anderson) was able to play since it was a scrimmage. We saw some good things and think we’re in a good place for the second half of the season.”
Becca Anderson is a sophomore who transferred from Paton-Churdan to Greene County and due to transfer rules, can play games below the varsity level, but not in varsity contests until 90 school days have been completed.
