Crews out early this morning to clear the roads in Dallas County.

Dallas County Engineer Al Miller says that crews were out at 5am to clear all the heavy snow that came in overnight. Miller points out the challenge out on the gravel roads is peeling off the wet snow because of the slickness. The biggest obstacle, however, is the wind, according to Miller. He explains that the wind should die down tomorrow, which will be helpful in cleaning things up. The crews will be out until 5pm today and with more snow in the forecast for Thursday into Friday, Miller is hoping to clear out the existing snow.
