January 4th

Jesus Nuno, age 38, 602 W Honolulu Dr, Lindsay, Ca, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charges were Controlled Substance Violation and Failure To Affix Drug Stamp. 

January 5th

Amir Ali Al Majidi, age 25, 728 NE Conner Ct, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Burglary and Robbery. 

Steven Winkler, Monument, Co, was driving on I80 near the 104 mile marker, when he lost control and spun around, hitting the bridge.  No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1500.  

January 6th

Jesus Berber, age 31, 4025 12th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Possession Of Controlled Substance. 

Christina Tasler, age 40, 4126 53rd St, Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence and Eluding.  She was also cited for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked, Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability, Operating Non-Registered Vehicle, Speeding and Open Container.

Kevin Gomez, age 34, 625 Warren, Dexter, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.  

Josiah Pollock, Ames, was driving in the 19000 block of W Ave, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $10000.  

January 7th

Darnell Green, age 53, 1216 Forest Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation. 

Jacob Ladwig, age 20, 1115 Polk St, Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Domestic Abuse Assault.

January 9th

Amber Elvins, Guthrie Center, was driving on I80 near the 102 mile marker, when she hit some ice and lost control.  The car came to rest on the cable barriers.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3500.  The vehicle was privately towed. 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
