The Panorama Panthers basketball teams are scheduled to play against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines on Thursday, January 11. Both teams, each with 10 wins, are focusing on skill and strategy in anticipation of the matchup.

Coach Kylee Boettcher emphasizes the importance of recognizing the Wolverines’ shooters and controlling the game’s tempo. “It’s going to come down to our defense, something that we hold a lot of pride in,” says Coach Boettcher. The Panthers aim to understand assignments, identify strengths, and approach the game strategically. “Each girl has tendencies so just looking at what their tendencies are and just trying to force them into uncomfortable situation that’s really what we focus on we’re watching Gainesville we also like to do what we do right so we know we want to bring some pressure and try to create Force turnovers and really once again control it in a way that we’re used to and that we’re comfortable doing and then just stepping up and hitting shots.”

The game, set for 6 pm, is a platform for both teams to showcase their abilities on the court. The Panthers’ commitment to defense and strategic play is how they plan to prepare for their first matchup this week. After the Wolverines game the Panthers are scheduled to host the Van Meter Bulldogs at home in Panora on Friday January 12th.
