The Stuart Police Department recently announced that they would be continuing a partnership.

The department will be working once again with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division for tobacco, alternative nicotine and vapor products using their I-Pledge education and enforcement program. This program emphasizes retailer training and enforcement of Iowa’s laws on tobacco, alternative nicotine and vapor products. Officers will be out in the community to conduct compliance checks with local businesses as part of the program, and hopes that by partnering with IABD they can educate clerks and keep a compliant retail environment.
