The City of Perry invites the public to a community gathering on Saturday to show support.

The Perry Community is displaying resiliency a week after the horrifying events at the high school. The city will be having a get-together on Saturday at the Tin Pig Tavern from 4-8pm featuring free meals, fellowship, and support. Free meals will be provided by Landus and the Matt & Shanda Carstens Family Foundation for either dine-in or carry-out. In addition, the Heartland Area Education Agency in conjunction with National Alliance on Mental Health will offer personal health representatives and resources for those that need them.
