One of the few competitions that went on last night saw the Panthers knock off the Wolverines in both the girls and boys contest.

The girls game featured two top ten teams.  The Panthers rode a 17-3 first quarter to victory.  The Wolverines would outscore Panorama the rest of the game, but by then it was too late. Tyme Boettcher led Panorama with 23 points in their 56-43 win.

Coach Boettcher post game thoughts, “Defensively, we were able to set the tempo early. We battled their runs and came with runs of our own.”

Panorama improves to 11-0 and Nodaway Valley falls to 10-2.  The girls return to the court on Monday as they travel to Ankeny Christian.

On the boys side, the Panther won by 24, 84-60.  A 14 point lead after the first ballooned to 20 at half.

Panorama improves to 8-4 and Nodaway Valley falls to 0-9.

The Panthers return to the court Tuesday night as they host West Central Valley for a conference game in a girl/boy doubleheader.
