The Adair County Cattlemen will be holding their annual banquet in the coming weeks.

The event will be held at the Adair County 4-H Building at 900 NE Elm Street in Greenfield on January 20th. They will begin festivities at 4:30pm, with a social hour and demonstration of the Iowa State University Calving Simulator, with the banquet to begin at 6:30pm. The meal will be a ribeye steak supper, which will be $25 for adults, or $10 for a children’s hamburger meal.

The evening will include recipients of the Heifer Project, Friend of the Cattlemen, a trophy and items donated for the auction. Auction items include a Henry American Farmer, .22 caliber Long Rifle Golden Boy Edition donated by Brewer Firearms, and a Henry .30-.30 Winchester Golden Boy Edition donated by McCunn’s Specialty Firearms.
