Saturday is the Iowa High School Speech Association District Large Group Contest and Greene County High School has several students ready to go.

Speech Coach Kelley Gray tells Raccoon Valley Radio that 32 students will be in seven entries for a total of six categories, including Reader’s Theater, Choral Reading, Short Film, Group Improvisation, Radio Broadcasting and Musical Theater. Gray says with how the weather has been to start the year, the students have done a good job of being adaptable and making things work. She adds that while they always want more practice time, but with what they have been able to do, she feels the students are ready to compete on Saturday.

Greene County is heading to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School for the district large group contest. The full list of the students and their speech entries can be found below.
