The Guthrie County Hospital recently announced that one of their nurses was named to a prestigious annual list for the state.

Licensed Practical Nurse Jentry Hise was named to the 2024 list of Iowa’s 100 Greatest Nurses after being nominated by a member of the community who shared words of praise on Hise’s dedication to the community. The program recognizes and honors nurses who go above and beyond, and started as a program by the University of Iowa in 2004 until the Mary Greeley Medical Center took it over in 2022.
