February brings one of the biggest annual events to the City of Perry.
Perry’s Bike Ride to Rippey (BRR) is returning for the 47th year on Saturday, February 3rd. This is a 24-mile round trip from Perry to the City of Rippey and back that’s been ongoing since 1978. The primary focus for Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti is registration.
“We are still going on with the pre-registration for the whole month of January and even the week leading up to the event, and then day of as well, so it’s still an opportunity to register for the ride, get your merchandise, your annual t-shirt or you can support the ride just for a $15 donation to help keep that tradition going on, or just buy merchandise to go along with it.”
Pasutti mentions that the first 300 applicants will receive a commemorative pin. She says BRR has never been canceled. For more information, call the Chamber at (515)-465-4601.
