The West Central Wildcats went into battle with the Pleasantville Trojans resulting in a split decision. The Lady Wildcats came out victorious in a tight battle against the Trojans while the boys just fell short to the Trojans 61-52.
For the Lady Wildcats the game went back in forth in the first, as both teams ended the quarter tied at 11 points. This carried into the second quarter as both teams held each other to only five points. It was in the third quarter when the Lady Wildcats took the lead and never looked back scoring 15 points and although the Trojans outscored the Wildcats by two in the final quarter, the Lady Wildcats were able to hold on enough to come out victorious 41-36.
For the boys, the Wildcats just fell short to the Trojans making the Wildcats historical losing streak to the Trojans 7-0. Both teams came into the contest evenly matched on paper, with the Trojans having won only one more game than the Wildcats, looking back at their last five games with the Wildcats having won only one of their last five games.
The Lady Wildcats advance 5-6 to while the boys fall to 5-7. Both teams prepare to take on Woodward Granger today, tip off is at 6:15.
