With Valentine’s Day coming up, two organizations in Guthrie Center wanted to find a way to celebrate.

Main Street Guthrie Center and the Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce have started an event to help promote their local businesses. Individuals shopping at Guthrie Center businesses will be able to enter their names in a raffle drawing for every $25 they spend at participating businesses. Participating shops will be identifiable by a large heart in their window, and the winner of the drawing will receive a Valentine’s Day basket with items donated by the participating businesses. Individuals can enter their name in the drawing until February 13th, and the winning name will be drawn on Valentine’s Day.
