It was Wildcat Senior Night as the Wildcat basketball teams hosted the ACGC Chargers. Both Wildcats teams would fall short to end the contest, with the boys fighting back in the second half but came out short 62-46. The Wildcats would come out ready to play in the first quarter, scoring 15 points, but the Chargers were right behind them scoring 12 of their own. The momentum shifted in the second quarter in favor of the Chargers with their defense putting the clamps on the Wildcats, holding the Wildcats to 5 points. With the score at 31-20 to start the second half, the Wildcats scored 15 points but the Chargers scored 17 points of their own. The Wildcats wouldn’t give up however, scoring 11 points in the fourth, but still fell short to Chargers 62-46

The odds would not be in the girl Wildcats favor, as they were only able to score a free throw in the first quarter. In the second, the Wildcats were able to score 7, resulting in the score being 36-8 at the end of the first half, The Wildcats would score a combined 8 points in the second half, falling short to the Chargers 56-16. 

The boys fall to 5-11 and the girls sit at 7-10 in the season. The Wildcats prepare to host Ogden on Thursday.
