Funeral services for Phyllis E. Carney, age 101, of Adair, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church in Adair.  Interment will take place following the funeral at Sunnyhill Cemetery in Adair. A luncheon will be provided following the committal service in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church.

A visitation with the family will be held prior to the service at the church, starting at 9:30 till the time of the service.

Memorials may be directed to the Carney Family in honor of Phyllis, to be designated to many of her favorite local organizations and charities. They may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
