
Paton-Churdan ends the basketball regular season tonight in Churdan with a Rolling Valley Activities Conference makeup girl/boy doubleheader vs. Glidden-Ralston. The Rockets hosted Woodbine last night in conference play on Senior Night and the visiting Tigers won both contests. The girls final was 65-23 and it was 68-32 in the boys’ game.
Woodbine was ahead 29-8 at the half in the girls’ game. Isabell Cook of Woodbine was the high scorer in the game with 17 points. P-C had 10 points from Kaliyah Minnihan and seven from Alivya Smith. Both are freshmen. Woodbine’s girls have a 14-5 record while P-C is 0-19.
The Tigers in the boys’ game had 31 points from Carter Gruver and 15 by Jay Pryor. Trevon Keely had 14 points for the Rockets and Kinnick Steimel added seven points. Woodbine is 16-3 and Paton-Churdan is 1-18.
