There is an important deadline for two grant applications coming up this week in Greene County.
Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation and Greene County Community Foundation both have Thursday as their respective deadline days for grant submissions. GGCGC grants for those projects that are $35,000 and above. Board member Peg Raney says groups that can apply for grant funding include non-profits, governmental entities, and school districts that serve residents of the county. She talks about how organizations can also apply for multiple-year pledges for projects.
“Someone is looking at a larger project and they could use some funds so that they can use that to help match towards another grant, a larger grant. An example of that was the child care center.”
The Greene County Community Foundation gives grants for projects that are below $35,000. Click the links below to access the respective grant applications.
