Greene County meets Manson-Northwest Webster tonight in Manson in a Class 2A District 8 boys’ basketball opening round contest. Tonight’s game can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverage at 6:45 p.m. and tipoff at 7 o’clock.

The Cougars are 15-7 and they topped the Rams on Jan. 27 in Manson by a 74-46 final. Logan Moline is a 6′ 3″ junior for the Cougars and he’s one of Iowa high school basketball’s top scorers at more than 25 points per game. The Rams are 2-19 and are led by three seniors, with Gabe Ebersole at 14 points per game, Brynley Ruzicka at more than 12 and Nathan Behne at nine-plus.

The winner tonight plays on Thursday night at East Sac County while the losing team will have its season come to an end.
