The AC/GC Chargers boys basketball team will be continuing their push into the postseason.

The boys started things out fairly close, with a 30-20 lead at the end of the first quarter. Some big scoring in the second lead the Chargers to outscore the Blue Devils 25-10 in the second, and go into halftime up 55-30. Some notable plays in the first half came from junior guard Jathan South, who recorded two dunks, and a fantastic layup that could have been dunk number three if the defender hadn’t come up behind him.

AC/GC continued the performance, with a 21-8 showing in the third quarter, and with the junior varsity in, outscored the Blue Devils 16-9 in the final quarter, and ended the game with a 92-47 victory. The next game for the Chargers will be Thursday night, as they host the Earlham Cardinals.

The girls team though, gets things started up tonight, as they host the Woodward-Granger Hawks for the third time this season, and.for their first round in the postseason.
