Dallas Center – Grimes boys basketball will be playing in a non-conference game tonight as they begin their final week of the regular season at North Polk. DCG comes into the game at 16-3 while North Polk is 10-11.

DCG was able to clinch a share of the Little Hawkeye Conference championship last week defeating Pella last Friday night. The title was their third in the last four years.

The Mustangs found out about their postseason bracket yesterday in 4A, they were placed in Substate 7 as a 2 seed. The six team district will see DCG get a first round bye before taking on the winner of Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln or Sioux City West. That game will be played in Grimes on Friday, February 23rd. The championship game will be played on Tuesday February 27th. The top seed in the district is Waukee.

The game is projected to tip off at 7:45 pm at North Polk High School as the Mustangs will be looking to extend their five game winning streak.
