Friday, February 9th

1:29am: An officer located an Open Door at 1500 North Mulberry Street. A key holder was contacted.

1:40am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the building at 407 East Central Avenue.

1:54am: An officer located an Open Door at 600 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer secured the building after clearing the building.

9:29am: Carey Miller reported a Stray Dog running in the 200 Block of North Grimmell Road. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

2:36pm: Fareway requested an officer at 1207 North Elm Street, after catching a subject shoplifting. Lewis Delbert Randolph, 52 of Urbandale, was arrested and charged with, “Theft 5th Degree.” Randolph had placed a bottle of alcohol, valued at $26.79, under his coat and attempted to leave without paying for the item.

3:12pm: An officer investigated an accident in the 400 Block of East Russell Street. A 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Van, owned and operated by Skylar Risdal of Jefferson, was backing from a parking spot. Risdal turned too sharply and struck the rear of the vehicle parked next to him. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was owned by Jason McDowell of Grand Junction. There was very minimal damage to each vehicle.

3:14pm: George Glasgow reported the Theft of a coat from 307 North Olive, #2N.

7:10pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Lincoln Way resulted in Brayton Crouse of Dana being cited for, “Dark Windows.”

9:48pm: Emily McCormick requested an officer in the 700 Block of South Oak Street for a possible Suicidal Subject. The officer located the subject, who was intoxicated, walking in the area. Todd Edward Gesler, 50 of Jefferson, was arrested for, “Public Intoxication – Simple.”

Saturday, February 10th

12:49am: Steve Murphy reported suspicious activity in the 300 Block of Grauer Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

2:47am: Jeremiah Voss requested an officer at 806 West Monroe Street. He reported his girlfriend had assaulted him. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Whitney Rose Case, 36 of Jefferson for, “Domestic Abuse Assault/Injury – Serious.”

4:44am: Nicole Murphy reported an Audible Alarm sounding at 104 North Locust Street. The officer found the business to be secure. A key holder was contacted.

11:18am: A caller advised of a Suspicious Person at 104 North Locust Street. The subject had left the store before the call was made.

1:13pm: Jeremiah Voss reported missing items from 806 West Monroe Street. The officer advised Voss it was a Civil Issue, as he was blaming his girlfriend for hiding the items.

2:08pm: An officer removed a downed tree branch from the roadway in the 400 Block of East Lincoln Way Street.

4:05pm: Audrie Lawrence spoke with an officer about a Civil Issue concerning a cell phone.

5:20pm: Sparky’s turned in two ID Cards that had been left at 606 Highway 30 East.

5:25pm: The Wild Rose casino reported a Self-Banned subject on the Gaming Floor at 777 Wild Rose Lane. Leonel Zuniga Corado of Des Moines was issued a Summons to Appear on, “Trespass – Simple.”

6:52pm: A deputy requested assistance from an officer in looking for a vehicle in Jefferson. The vehicle was located in Grand Junction.

10:24pm: Micah Horn reported an Audible Alarm going off at 104 North Locust Street. The alarm had ended before the officer arrived. The building was secure.

Sunday, February 11th

1:22am: Heather Ketchum reported two subjects on her back porch at 705 West Harrison Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

6:07am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 Block of North Oak Street for, “48 Hour Parking Violation.”

7:02am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 300 American Ave. The facility was secure.

10:05pm: Eyezayah Scheuermann reported an Audible Alarm sounding at 104 North Locust Street. The building was secure.

Monday, February 12th

12:06am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of South Chestnut Street.

3:45am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 115 West State Street. The officer located a cleaning person outside the bank, who advised she had accidentally tripped the alarm. The officer discovered she did not have a valid license and issued Brittini Hager of Jefferson a citation for, “Fail to Have a Valid License.”

7:33am: A Traffic Stop near 220th and Doreen Wilbur Drive resulted in Xander Dorman of Harcourt being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Dark Windows.”

10:03am: Dispatch advised of two 911 Hang Up Calls coming from the 1000 Block of West Washington Street. The officer was unable to make contact with anyone in the area needing assistance.

10:34am: Robert Gilmore reported Harassment from a female subject. The officer is investigating.

4:34pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver heading south into Jefferson of Hwy. 4. The officer was unable to locate the reported vehicle.

4:44pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of West Central Avenue resulted in Hallie Monthei of Cooper being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

5:16pm: Nicole Hanks reported a male subject stumbling around the ponds at 777 Wild Rose Lane. She reported he was falling down and urinated by a light pole. The officer made contact with the subject. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Lewis Delbert Randolph, 52 of Urbandale for, “Public Intoxication.”

6:08pm: Mary Norgart requested a Welfare Check on a female in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officer was able to speak to the female, who advised she was fine.

7:31pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Colton Mason of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

8:00pm: Mary Norgart reported a fire burning at 207 North Cedar Street. An officer spoke to a resident who was watching the fire.
