Perry has sent two wrestlers to the IHSAA State Championship in Des Moines today. Keegan Snyder is making a return trip after going 2-2 last year. This will be the first appearance for Kain Killmer. Both seniors are hoping to perform better than their seed line.
Kain Killmer, 35-3, earned the four seed in his weight class 190 in Class 2A.
Keegan Snyder, 35-3, earned the six seed in his weight class 215 in Class 2A.
Both guys will receive an opening round bye before taking the mat today. Coach Dardanes loves that his wrestlers got byes. “A great situation to scout. They’ll watch their opponents. It gives them a better idea of a few things they (opponent) is good at.”
Coverage will begin today at 9A on the Raccoon Valley Radio Network.
