During last week’s home basketball game against Greene County, the Perry Bluejayettes and Bluejays were awarded a very special donation from the NBA Affiliate Iowa Wolves.

Both the girls and boys basketball teams joined the Perry Booster Club on the court at the February 6th game to receive a check from the Iowa Wolves. According to Booster Club Member Tiffany Oljniczak, the Wolves presented the teams with a check in the amount of $17,305 that will go to benefit the Booster Club. 

The Booster Club states that the donation came from proceeds on January 16th, when the Perry teams returned to the court, at Wells Fargo Arena, for the first time since the January 4th shooting.
