Greene County ISU Extension is offering another free program tomorrow tailored to the agriculture sector.
The topic for February’s Ag Coffee is Field Conservation-Nutrient Reduction Practices that will be held tomorrow from 9:30-11am at the Extension Office in Jefferson. ISU Extension Field Agricultural Engineer Tony Mensing will lead the discussion. The informal presentation will shed light on how edge of field conservation practices, such as buffers and bioreactors, can improve overall water quality without reducing a field’s tile drainage capacity.
The free program is sponsored by Landus Cooperative. No registration is necessary.
