The post season for AC/GC Chargers 2023-24 winter sports has been a good one.

On February 10th, Ty Thomas competed at the State Swim Meet, swimming with Carroll through a sharing agreement. His group in the 200 medley relay placed 7th at the meet, which is the highest placement for a Carroll team.

The boys basketball team is in action tonight, as they host the Earlham Cardinals for their second match up of the season. In their game earlier this season, the Chargers won 57-42 on a team scoring effort, with junior Jathan South putting up 14, and senior Lance Bunde along with junior Noah Kading both contributing 13 a piece. The game will be broadcast on the KKRF-2 online live stream, and free mobile app.

The Chargers boys wrestling team is also making their run into the post season. Both seniors Payton Jacobe and Tegan Slaybaugh received byes in the first round, and then won their match in the second round yesterday, while Gavin Sloss, Ryder Cline, Michael Fuller and Carter Richter fell in their matches in the championship bracket, and received byes in their first round of the consolation bracket. All wrestlers will compete again today, with Richter facing Henry Lund of AHSTW, Slaybaugh facing Eli Becerra of Missouri Valley, Sloss facing Liam Stockberger of Central Springs, Cline facing Jaxon Gordon of Riverside, Fuller facing Bryce Wiskus of Kuemper Catholic and Jacobe facing Cody Fox of East Buchanan.
