The AC/GC Chargers boys basketball team is advancing once again in postseason play.

The team took down the Earlham Cardinals with ease in the Thursday night game, starting off with a big 23-5 lead at the end of the first quarter. AC/GC outscored Earlham 16-12 to extend that lead to 39-17 going into the halftime break, and was able to pick up many points off fast break opportunities from steals. The Cardinals were held to 10 points in each of the final two quarters, while the Chargers scored 18 and 11 respectively, ending the game with a 68-37 victory. The second half was characterized by the team taking some fun shots, with Payton Policky knocking down a three pointer, and Lance Bunde slamming down a fast break dunk off the steal.

The Chargers girls basketball team is in action tonight, as they travel to Panorama for their third matchup of the season with the Panthers. Both teams are 4-1 in the last five games. The Chargers will be looking to advance to the next round, with the Panthers the last team in the way to the regional finals.
