Thursday, February 15th

12:17am: A deputy assisted with a civil issue in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

4:31am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on U Avenue near 230th Street.

5:08am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of Main Street, Grand Junction.

11:36am: The Sheriff, a deputy, Scranton Fire Department, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a garage fire in the 700 block of Oak Street, Scranton. There was no fire just an overheated wood stove chimney.

1:43pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

1:45pm: Jason Miller 46 of Boone was booked into the jail for 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:38pm: A deputy investigated a possible assault in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

8:29pm: A deputy investigated a hit and run accident in the 800 block of High Street, Scranton. A 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was struck by an unknown vehicle causing an estimated 1,000 dollars in damage.

Friday, February 16th

5:37am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the ditch in the 500 block of N Avenue.

6:27am: The Sheriff, a deputy, Jefferson Fire Department, and Greene County ambulance responded to a single vehicle accident on Neola Avenue near 310th Street. Whitney Case 37 of Dexter lost control of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and went into the west ditch. The truck entered a large culvert causing the truck to be totaled. The driver was transported by Greene County Ambulance to the Dallas County Hospital with suspected injuries. The airbags deployed in the truck and the driver was wearing a seatbelt.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
