Senior Tyme Boettcher of the girls Panorama Basketball team cements her place in history as she has now scored over 1,000 career points this season after scoring 31 points against the West Central Valley Wildcats in district play. Boettcher is now the 7th Panther girl to score over 1,000 career points, currently at 1,012 points so far this season. Panorama will face off against the ACGC Chargers later today, giving Boettcher the opportunity to continue to add on to the record books. If the Panthers beat the Chargers, they will continue on their journey to the Wells Fargo Arena for the state tournament.

Coach Boettcher had this to say about Tyme’s achievement, “To be honest, I wasn’t sure she would make it this year. When an athlete plays 2 years with the career leader, Payton Beckman, who shoots lights out, and then tears her ACL and sits out a half a season, the numbers don’t add up. But, it goes to show that anything is possible if you put in the work in the weight room and gym.”
