A reminder that President’s Day is on Monday and there will be several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson.

The Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library, Greene County ISU Extension Office, and the Jefferson Post Office will be closed in observance of the holiday. Additionally, while the Greene County Courthouse will be open for President’s Day, only the County Auditor’s Office and the Clerk of Court will be open.

Jefferson residents are also reminded that due to the holiday on Monday, garbage and recycling routes will be delayed one day. Garbage routes will go back to normal schedules the following week.
